Description
In tracking and training, the dog needs freedom to move over the terrain while the handler maintains control in hand. The Friction Long Line solves this contradiction: grip where the handler holds it, glide where the dog drags it.
Grip where it matters, glide where it doesn't. Seven rows of rubber grip sewn into the webbing provide a firm grip in hand in any condition, while the rest of the leash glides smoothly over the ground when the dog tracks freely.
Hypalon reinforcement on seams and end. The seams are reinforced with Hypalon to resist wear from constant contact with the ground and vegetation — essential for a leash that spends a good part of its time dragging. The same reinforcement at the opposite end from the dog allows you to feel when the line is ending, without needing to look.
Twistlock carabiner with swivel closure. The automatic lock prevents the leash from accidentally detaching, and the swivel pivot prevents the line from twisting during work.
Soft webbing, no burns. Designed to be manageable with hands during long sessions, it minimizes chafing and friction burns.
Water resistant, no extra weight. The webbing does not absorb water or become heavy when wet, so it maintains its handling in wet conditions.
Polyester webbing with rubber inserts, high visibility orange color. Available in 10 m (314 g) and 15 m (456 g).
