Learn about our story

Hi! I'm Bruno, Director of Quality Control and Canine Satisfaction at Podenco Active, and this is our story.

It all started in a field in the Sierra de Madrid. I was alone, without a family, until a lady found me and took care of me. Soon after, she introduced me to the family that now gives me everything — and that special connection was the spark that changed everything.

Because when you truly love a dog, you don't settle for just anything.

That's why Podenco Active was born.

We are an online store created by and for people who live an outdoor life with their dogs. We know firsthand what it means to have an active dog: the energy, the mud, the miles, the endless trot. And we know how frustrating it is to buy a harness that pinches, a leash that breaks in the middle of a pull, or booties that don't even last the first outing.

You won't find that here.

Technical equipment for dogs that don't stop.

All our products are made with high-resistance technical materials: we select each product with the same criteria we would use to choose something for Bruno. It has to be safe, durable, and reliable when it matters most.

Nothing goes through our store without passing canine quality control. 🐾

Everything you need for adventure, in one place.

🦺 Harnesses — Designed for movement, without chafing or pressure points. For daily use and maximum performance.

🏃 Canicross equipment — Towlines, belts, and specific harnesses for running with your dog safely and comfortably for both of you.

🦮 Leashes — From hand leashes for the countryside to long lines for training. Resistant, manageable, and reliable.

📿 Collars — Technical and safe, designed for active dogs who don't understand leisurely walks.

🥾 Booties — Real protection for paw pads on rough terrain, stone, hot asphalt, or snow. Because their paws deserve care too.

Don't know which product you need?
