Description

There are booties for strolling. And there are booties built for when your dog's paws really get to work.

Level 5 cut-resistant material. The highest standard. The outer fabric complies with EN 388 certification for cut resistance (level 4), puncture (level 3), tear (level 4), and abrasion (level 4). This isn't marketing — these are standardized tests that measure exactly how much the material can withstand before giving way.

Nitrile rubber coating: grip, water, and solvents. Nitrile rubber does three things at once: it repels water, protects against solvents and chemicals on the ground, and provides real grip on slippery surfaces — mud, wet rock, ice. The same material used in professional work gloves.

No internal seams. No chafing. The interior has no seams in contact with the paw — the point where most booties end up causing irritation. Soft materials maintain natural contact with the ground so the dog can feel the surface and move safely.

Elastic Velcro that adapts and secures. The elastic closure conforms to the shape of the paw without being too tight — firm when moving, comfortable when resting. It works equally well on slender and wide paws.

Pack of 4 — all four paws protected. Unlike other booties sold in pairs, the Protector Bootie comes in a pack of 4 units to protect all four paws at once. Sizes from XS (3-4 cm) to 2XL (8-9 cm).

Developed for mushing and technical hiking. Suitable for any dog needing serious paw protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What situations are these ankle boots recommended for?

For almost everything. The Protector Bootie performs equally well on daily walks on asphalt — salt, chemicals, abrasive surfaces — as it does in mushing, technical hiking, or terrains with a real risk of cuts. The Level 5 cut-resistant material and nitrile rubber coating are capable of much more than just one activity. If your dog goes out every day and sometimes you demand more from them, these booties adapt without needing a change of equipment.

What does cut resistant level 5 mean?

It is the highest cut resistance rating according to EN 388 — the European standard for personal protective equipment. This means that the material has passed standardized tests for cut, tear, puncture, and abrasion resistance. In practice: it withstands what most other boots on the market cannot.

Does nitrile rubber protect against soil chemicals?

Yes. Nitrile rubber offers certified solvent resistance (ASTM D5402-19), making them suitable for use on terrain with chemicals, road salt, or treated surfaces.

Do they stay on with movement?
How many units are included in the pack?

4 units for all four paws at once. As these booties are more flexible and adapt better to different paw anatomies, for most dogs, the same size works well for both the front and hind paws — eliminating the need to order different sizes for each pair.
